Teaching Award winner “Linking Teaching and Research” 2025 presented on Teaching Day
For the first time this year, the teaching award “FH Kärnten teaching focused! 2025 The prize was awarded to Markus Kraxner from the Occupational Therapy degree program for his teaching concept for the course “Everyday, creative and therapeutic activities in occupational therapy 2 (garden therapy) AKTAET-22”. The award ceremony by Vice-Rector Angelika Mitterbacher took place during the Day of Teaching on March 18, 2025, in the presence of the participants of the BIP “PhD Supervision”, among others. The internal and external reviewers positively emphasized, among other things, a “high degree of reflection opportunities with simultaneous practical relevance and knowledge transfer through publications”, the “integration of mindfulness, sustainability thinking and disciplinary or personal reflection par excellence” as well as the nature-oriented approach, which “will certainly be remembered by the students”.
